Noosa Place Resort is only a 5-minute drive or 30-minute walk to Noosa Main Beach and National Park – a serene, beautiful and safe environment for the whole family. Vibrant and picturesque Hastings Street runs parallel to the beach and offers gorgeous boutiques, restaurants and cafés. Our Noosa river accommodation is close to the Sunshine Coast airport, which is just a 25-minute drive away. Alternatively, Brisbane airport is 1.30 hours’ drive depending on traffic.

Noosa Region

Noosa is situated at the northern end of the beautiful stretch of Queensland coastline known as the Sunshine Coast and is only a short 25min drive from the Sunshine Coast Airport or approximately 1 1/2 hours from the Brisbane Airport. Noosa Heads boasts an expansive National Park right on the headland which provides some of the best surfing point breaks in Australia at either Tea Tree Bay or Granite Bay. Whilst in Noosa you can also explore some of the other attractions on offer including the famous Hastings Street, Noosa River, Gympie Terrace, Sunshine Beach, Noosaville and Noosa Junction.

Sunshine Coast Beaches

You will not be disappointed on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast whether you are an avid surfer, diver, fisherman, kite surfer, stand-up paddle-boarder, or just a family looking to take in the warmth and beauty of the beach. The main attraction for many when visiting the region is the calm protected bay of Noosa’s Main Beach which offers a tranquil and relaxing experience for beach goers of all ages looking to take in the sun and sand.

Queensland’s Sunshine Coast is aptly named with relatively warm weather the majority of the year round providing you perfect opportunity to take in the huge number of beaches on offer. From Double Island Point at the far northern end of the coast, Noosa Northshore, Noosa Main Beach with point breaks and beaches stretching round to Alexandria Bay before you head south stretching south past Sunshine Beach, Coolum Beach, all the way down to Caloundra and the Pumicestone Passage.

Eumundi

Eclectic Eumundi is a small community with a difference. With a laid back country atmosphere this community swells every Wednesday and Saturday morning as it plays host to the famous Eumundi Markets. With a mix of local artists, farmers, artisan craftsman, restaurateurs & entrepreneurs this town puts all its local flavour and wares on display for these two days. You will find locally made food from a variety of cultures, experience entertainment from local artists, hand-crafted and locally made products , fresh local produce, and a welcoming smile only found in small communities.

Eumundi is famous for the weekly markets, but for the locals, Eumundi is much more than that. With a number of great schools in the area, access to great public transport, a small community of retailers and producers, you will find that Eumundi is a great “tree change” area, that is only a 15 minute drive to Noosa Heads.

National Parks

Although the Sunshine Coast is most famous for its beach and ocean lifestyle the area also boasts a huge number of National Parks and conservation areas. With an enviable display of bio-diversity the Noosa Everglades are a must do for any eco-enthusiast visiting the Noosa Region. The Noosa Everglades are accessible by boat up the Noosa River, past Lake Cootharaba and the historical Boreen Point. Noosa Jazz Festival

The Noosa Jazz Festival is another great excuse to make your way to the beautiful Sunshine Coast and enjoy the local atmosphere at Noosa Heads.
